I’m glad that Ferguson is getting attention, seriously I am, but I haven’t seen ONE post about what is happening over seas. Not even one post about the pictures above. Children are being beheaded and dragged into the streets where they are then shot because their families are Christian. Women are being raped and murdered. Men are being murdered. PEOPLE are dying. It’s a Christian Holocaust. And I haven’t seen anything on Tumblr.

Why aren’t any of you furious about this?! Where’s the “social justice?” ISIS is murdering people who don’t convert to Islam (yes, I know they’re extremists and not all Muslims are like that. Save yourself the rant) but I really want to know why this hasn’t been given the attention it deserves.

Seriously, guys. This is really scary, and we need to raise attention for these people. They so desperately need our prayers and support.

It’s not getting attention because on Tumblr, Christians are seen as the oppressor and the Muslims as the oppressed.

I am horrified.

Stuff like this has been going on for a long time, and not just in the Middle East.

My church used to support a missionary family in India who used to run a school there. In 2008 they came to the states to talk about the work they had done in the previous year. No one was prepared for the presentation the missionaries gave.

On Dec 24th, 2007 in the Kandhamal District of India, Christians and there families were being dragged from there homes and severely beaten and/or killed, women were raped, churches, businesses, orphanages and schools were burned to the ground, homes were looted, and all because the Hindu radicals were against their Christmas holiday traditions.

The missionaries actually brought a video with them, and I don’t mean some done up documentary. This was made by regular people in the streets watching the Christians being pulled from their homes. I watched a Hindu radical take a baseball bat to another man’s head while he lay on the ground crying in pain.

Over 5000 people were affected by the attack. Those who survived hid in the jungle. Many children were orphaned because their parents had been killed for their beliefs. The people refer to this day as the Black Christmas.

Bet no one heard about this in the news.

I don’t care what your religious beliefs, or the lack there of, are. NO ONE should be treated like this.
